Buttonizer lets you run “buttons” (commands or scripts) on your own computer from your phone. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it minimal by design: your commands, their output, and your files never leave your computer.

Summary

We collect only what is needed to pair your devices, deliver notifications, and verify your subscription.
We do not collect your button commands, their output, files, or message contents.
We do not sell your data and we show no ads.

1. Information we collect

This website (buttonizer.app)

The marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and download links are useful. It sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and receives your IP address, the page you viewed, and basic browser and device information. We use it only in aggregate, we do not link it to your Buttonizer account, and we do not use it for advertising. You can block or delete those cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The Buttonizer apps themselves include no third-party analytics SDKs.

2. What we do NOT collect

Button commands, scripts, and their output — these run and stay on your computer.
Files you pass to buttons — transferred only between your phone and your computer over the encrypted channel; not stored on our servers.
Message contents — notifications are relayed to Apple’s push service, not stored on our servers.
Contacts, photos, location, health data, or advertising identifiers.
We do not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the apps. The marketing website does use Google Analytics 4 — see “This website” above.

3. How we use information

Pair and authenticate your phone and computer.
Deliver notifications (job completion, messages) to your devices.
Verify purchases and apply your subscription plan.
Prevent abuse (rate limiting) and keep the service reliable.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Buttonizer:

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

5. Retention

Push tokens: until you unregister, delete the app, or Apple reports the token invalid.
Subscription records: while your subscription is active and for up to 90 days after it ends.
Pairing credentials: until you unpair a device or delete the app.
IP addresses: up to 60 seconds, in memory.
Button execution history: stored on your computer only.

6. Your choices and rights

Unpair a device in the app to remove its pairing credentials.
Delete a push address in the app to stop receiving messages at it.
Turn off notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
Delete your data: email us and we will remove your records.
Depending on your region (for example GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data.

7. Children

Buttonizer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Credentials are stored with restricted access on our servers, and buttons execute only on your own computer. No method is completely secure, but we design to minimize what we hold.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
